Hi! Here's a card I made tonight, inspired by this week's CAS(E) This Sketch challenge, and the colours from the Just Us Girls challenge:

I added a few gems, and some Stickles on the flowers, to add some sparkle, The card is layered on to silver-patterned vellum, and then black cardstock.

Creepie Cute Witchling

Hi! I love Halloween. I know some people find trick-or-treaters annoying, but tiny ghosts and monsters turning up at my door, trying to look scary while being extremely polite, are very cute! I don't usually think about Halloween until a couple of days before, when panic sets in, the shops are now empty of scary-looking sweets, and I have to make up a load of treat bags before the hoards arrive!

However, we don't really have much use for Halloween cards in the UK. Even if you're going to a party you wouldn't usually take a card, which is a shame because there are so many gorgeous Halloween stamps and papers out there... I've made a card anyway, because I love this image from Creepie Cute Stamps! I think I might make some smaller versions as tags for the treat bags!

Vellum Flowers

Hi! Here's a card I just made, inspired by the current Time Out challenge to "CASE Tracey". I stamped and then embossed the flowers onto vellum with Stampendous Shabby White Embossing Enamel. The vellum had silver polka dots on it already, so I used the other side so they were more subtle. I fastened the flowers together by one petal, then used 3D squares in the centre of each flower to lift them off the page a little. I coloured some white cardstock with SU markers and punched out the flower centres and leaves, then cut out a slightly curved stem.

Hi! Here's another Autumnal card, inspired by all the Autumn-related challenges going on at the moment! I masked the panel, stamped & embossed the leaves in a glittery gold, then stamped again in yellow, orange and red. I used ink dusters to add a yellow / orange / red background.

Inkspirational Autumn

Hi! Thanks so much to Inkspirational Challenges for inviting me to be a guest designer - such an honour, and so lovely to be asked! Here's the inspirational photo for the challenge:

There are lots of elements here to inspire, but I really love the colours and the trees. Here's what I came up with. I used ink dusters over a stencil to create the trees, and then added a bit of detail to the trees with a fine black marker. I stamped the leaves and wild grasses in yellow and orange, stamping twice to get different depths of colour. I added some Stickles to the leaves and grasses, and then added the punched butterflies and the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by  :)
