Funky Flowers

Hi! Here are a couple of Mother's Day cards I made, using my new Lili of the Valley flowers! I love these images :)

I coloured the flowers with inks. For the first card, I layered up the middle panel to add a bit of dimension, and added a little gem. For the second card, I added white dots with a white gelly roll pen, and some glitter with a Clear Star gelly roll pen.

Trying out new dies!

Hiya! Here's a card I made using a couple of dies I bought last month, but hadn't had chance to use. I cut a stitched square and then used the hearts border across the top. I made a background with Distress Oxides and Glimmer Mist, cut a small strip for a border, cut the sentiment, and used the rest behind the die cut hearts. I used red, pink and orange, but I might make another with deep, rich reds instead. I glued the border and sentiment on, and added some of the little hearts from the die cut.

Simple Christmas Card

Hiya! Here's a quick card I made using die cuts. I've kept it simple and glitter-free for a change! Just a little reindeer in the snow. It's a small card, just 10cm square, so I might use him as a large tag.

Cats Cats Cats

Hiya! Here's a birthday card I made with my new Indigo Blu stamp, 'Kibble Kits', inspired by the CAS-ual Fridays challenge. I stamped on Kraft card and embossed in white. The cat stamp is a rectangle, so I cut it down to a square, and with the spare section I cut out some cats to add to the bottom of the card. It's a card for a cat-mad man, so hopefully he will like it. I have resisted the urge to add any bling or sparkle!

Just a note

Hi! I recently bought a set of flower images from Bugaboo, and have made some little 7.5cm square note cards with them. They're coloured with inks and a water brush, and I added a few gems. For the calla lily card, I used a Wink of Stella brush on the snail's shell.

Confession...

I actually made two of each of these cards, but one fell in the cat's water bowl :-s I yanked it out of there as fast as I could, and let it dry, but some of the colours have run. Does it just look like I dropped it in the cat's water, or could I get away with saying I deliberately spritzed it, for a nice blending effect...?!?
