Twilight Fairy

Hi! I made this for a friend's birthday - she loves purples and fairies, so hopefully she'll like it!

I used a stencil from Clarity Stamp, masked the moon and used ink dusters and torn paper to create the landscape. I added the fairy, a stamp from Lavinia, and coloured her wings, hair and dandelion with an iridescent pen. I added a bit of detail to the tree with a silver pen.

I'm entering this one in the following challenges:

Addicted to Stamps: "Make Your Mark"

CAS(E) This Sketch: (Hope this counts, as the tree splits the image with white)

Inkspirational: "Blast from the Past" - 67 – purple with grey or silver

Crafts Galore: "Anything Goes"

Pud

Hi! Here's another card using a Digistamp Boutique image - I love these Christmas digis!

The image is coloured with Promarkers, and I added a bit of Glossy Accents to the holly berries to give them a shine.

I don't actually like Christmas pudding, because it is filled with horrible sultanas and raisins - yuck! But I think these little images are cute :)  If only Christmas pudding was made of chocolate instead...

I'm entering this one into the following challenges:

Craft for the Craic: "Christmas Cheer"

ABC Challenge: "W is for Wishes (Add a Sentiment)"

Come and Get It: "Merry Christmas"

Dragonfly Dreams: "It's Christmas!"

A Bit of a Weird One

Hi! I've slowed down on the card-making front, partly because we have a lot going at the moment, and partly because I've been having a lot of migraines. I've just upped the dose of my migraine-preventative pills, which has made me feel rubbish and drugged for the last few days, so I thought I'd try to make something to cheer myself up! So... this is what I came up with. Yes, I know, it's a bit weird. Still deciding whether I like it or not.

Less Is More has a 'Jewel Colours' challenge at the moment, Addicted to Stamps has a photo inspiration challenge which inspired these colours against black, and City Crafter has a 'Scribble Doodle Fun' challenge.

On white cardstock I doodled the flower with an embossing pen, and then embossed with clear embossing powder. I coloured the image with distress inks and a water brush, and then cut it out and 3D-mounted it onto black card backed with Tip Top Taupe card. I added gems for a bit of bling.

I'm entering this in the following challenges:

Less Is More: "Jewel Colours"

Addicted to Stamps:

City Crafter: "Scribble Doodle Fun"

CAS-ual Fridays: (Distressing, Sparkling, Embossing)

The ABC Challenge: "S is for Sprinkles" (Embossing Powder)

Wildflowers

Hi! Cupcake Inspirations have a challenge which ends in a few hours, so I've been hurrying to make something suitable! Here's what I came up with:

I inked through my wildflower stencil onto watercolour paper, and then embossed in gold. I scribbled in navy and deep blues with watercolour pencils and then blended with a water brush. Once it was dry, I flipped the stencil over and added a few more silhouettes using a white Uni Posca pen.

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Cupcake Inspirations (yes, I know it's blue rather than navy, but it was navy before I blended, honest!)

Inkspirational Challenges:

Papertake: "Take Your Pick" - Colour theme: Blue & green – either or, or even both together

Crafts Galore: "Anything Goes in August"

ABC Challenge: "'O' is for Open (Anything Goes)"
