Inspired by a Sketch

Hi! Papertake Weekly have a sketch challenge at the moment:

Here are a couple of cards I made, using the sketch. I used Santoro papers for the spotty background, and the other half of the background was made with white embossing paste through a stencil, and watercolour inking the remaining cardstock:

Happy Anniversary

Hi! Just been trying out my new heart stamp, and playing around with a sketch, and with colours from a couple of challenges. Here's what I've come up with, the same card with two different colour schemes:

I wasn't sure about using these colours for an anniversary card at first, but I like the freshness of the yellow. Colour challenges are great because you try things you would not normally think of :)

More Punch Flowers

I needed a Thank You card, so punched yet more flowers out of patterned papers. Love being able to use up some of my paper hoard :)  I made a 'Just a note' card with the same papers while I was at it ;)

Made a Cat Stencil...

Hiya! I've made a cat stencil, to make cat versions of the butterfly cards I made earlier. A bit obsessed with stencils at the moment! I wanted to make the same card in different colours, and have been inspired by quite a few challenges :)

Late Birthday Card...

It was my Aunt's birthday about a week ago, and I missed it :(  I spoke to her the day afterwards, and made her a card, but wish I'd sent one to arrive on time! My Aunt is very artistic and creative, so I'm always a bit nervous of sending her my cards. She makes beautiful teddy bears and sells them all over the world. It's a bit intimidating! I used stickles on the water and on her hair, and gems on her dress to bling it up.
