Monochromatic Pumpkin Pie

Hi! Here's a card I made inspired by the current Colour Me...! challenge, to use Pumpkin Pie and white. I had added Stickles to the orange flowers, and added a few gems.

Ferns & Butterflies

Hi! There's a monochrome challenge over at Colour Me...!, which inspired me to make this card. I clear embossed the stamped fern, and then used Shimmer sprays for the colour.

Mermaids

Hi! After a rubbish day at work, I came home, cuddled and fed the cats, and then made a glittery card - feel better already! Here's what I made:

I coloured her with ProMarkers, and then added Glamour Dust to her tail and to the flower centres.

Big Orange Flower!

Hi! Here's a card I made tonight, after borrowing a stamp set from my lovely friend Linda at Crafty Distraction :)

I clear embossed the stamped petals, coloured them with inks, and then cut them out. I used part of a blossom punch for the base of the flower, and added a few details in white to match the petals. I used ink dusters on the bottom of the card to make the grass.

Christmas in July

Hi! There are a few Christmas challenges going on at the moment, and I have a brand new stamp to play with! I kept it quite simple so it's also ok for a man - I resisted the urge to add bling and sparkle! Just a little bit of silver pen...

New Stamps!

I've been on eBay again, which is always dangerous... my new stamp set arrived this morning, and I really love them! They were free with one of the Cardmaking & Papercraft magazines, but the seller had never used them.

I've made a couple of cards using one of the flowers images and a Happy Birthday sentiment;

This one was inspired by the gorgeous colours in the Colour Me! challenge:
I'm also entering it into the Sparkles Monthly challenge 'It's Spring'

For both cards I used the Papertake sketch no. 64:
The current Papertake Challenge is 'Take Your Pick', which meant you could 1 or more of the following:
  • Any Papertake sketch
  • Glitter
  • Blue and/or green
  • Easel Card
I'm entering the card below in the challenge because it has the blue (with a tiny bit of green), and uses the sketch:

I'm also entering it into the Cas-ual Friday challenge, which involves using tan, white and one bright colour. I'm hoping they will forgive the two tiny green leaves being an additional colour... :)
