Hi! I am over the moon to be invited to be a Guest Star Stamper for this week's Color Throwdown challenge! The colours for this challenge are beautiful:
Here's what I came up with:
I used SU Garden in Bloom stamps to create the flowers, embossed with WOW! Platinum, on watercolour paper. I then used Cobalt Blue Brushos to create the background. I absolutely love Brushos - just one colour can give you different shades, and the colours are so rich with just a tiny bit of powder. I embossed the smaller blossoms and coloured them with Brushos, then cut them out to layer on the large petals.

This is fabulous, I love the colours and textures :)
Congrats on another guest designer spot! Your cards are awesome!
Wow, what a stunning card!! I keep hearing about Brushos but don't know much about them! I'm hoping it's something I don't need - lol!
Oh yum! This reminds me of some fabric I've seen. It's such a great batik pattern. Love the golden embossing on the card too...an elegant contrast to the more commonly added silver.
OMG!!! What gorgeous flowers and I sooo love your awesome background!!! I'm glad you were chosen to play along with us this week!!!!
What a wonderful card, Jenny! I love the sparkle with the blues! Awesome!
Such a pretty card Jenny. Love the silver heat embossing with the pretty blue.
