Hi! I've been invited to be a guest designer for CAS Colours & Sketches, for the August challenges! I am so excited to be asked :-D
Here's the first August challenge, using these gorgeous colours:
Here's what I came up with:
I embossed the image with Versamark and clear embossing powder, and then coloured with markers and inks. It was originally a masked panel on a one-layer card, but I'd got a bit carried away with the heat gun, and the bottom of the card had gone all wobbly :( So I cut the panel and layered it onto Wisteria Wonder card, which I think looks better anyway, as it balances out the colours more. I added little white dots with a Uni Posca pen to brighten the purple flower, and to add a bit of interest to the leaves.
Thanks for visiting!

Such a beautiful use of the colours, an absolutely gorgeous card. So pleased to have you guesting with us at CC&S this month.
Congrats on the GD, Jen! Lovely card....your techniques are fab!
Lovely card. I really like the kind of retro 60s effect of the paisley-like pattern - it was a great way to use the colours.
I'm so glad you agreed to be our guest designer at CC&S! I love how you've done the white-on-white embossing and then colored it in. It's a super way to show off the challenge colors! Terrific card!
Just beautiful1! Happy to be your latest follower! Have a lovely Sunday! Hazel xx
