Found Some More Rejects!

Hiya! After getting a bit over-excited with my new JOFY stamp set working so well with some discarded experiments with Oxides, I dug around for some more disasters. I found a larger piece of card with a failed Oxides experiment. It was one of my first attempts, when I'd only got 2 blues and 2 browns (when Oxides were new and out of stock everywhere, and these were the only colours I'd managed to snaffle at the NEC Hobbycrafts show back in March), and although you can get great results with just those colours, I just hadn't. I'd maybe used too much water, not enough ink, the card was too big... but it was just too dull to use as a background. However, I managed to stamp my new JOFY trees 3 times onto the card, and I love the result! I used the glitter gel pen again, and some Nuvo drops, silver on two of the cards, and gold on the other.

OK, I know they all look pretty much the same, but they are unique little snowflakes to me, so I'm going to bore you with all three of them. You've been warned. You can just look at the first one if you like ;)

Positively inspiring! Love what you did with these trees and the paper piecing with your "reject" paper! Every one of these looks like a first class keeper to me - and makes me want to rush out and get the stamp and your paper!! (LOL) So glad you shared. Thanks for much for playing along with our paper piecing challenge at My Time to Craft! Good luck! Hugs, Cathy MTTC DT
