Little Bats!

Hi! Here's a card I made for Halloween. I created the background by smooshing with Distress Oxides, then spritzing with Glimmer Mist. I punched a circle of double-sided adhesive for the moon, stuck it to the card and smothered it with gilding flakes. I absolutely love the look of gilding flakes, but I don't use them very often because they are so messy and seem to get everywhere! But I thought they worked really well for a Halloween moon. I die cut my bats out of black cardstock, and then used a bit more double-sided adhesive on a scrap of card, covered it with more gilding flakes, then cut a couple of pieces down to fit behind the bats, to give them bright shiny eyes.

I'm entering this one in the following challenges:

{PIN}spirational: (Inspired by the Halloween theme)
Come and Get It: 'Halloween'
Fusion: (Inspired by the gorgeous orange on blue colours in the photo)
Mix It Up: 'Anything Goes + optional twist of Watercoloring'

Ingredients:
Distress Oxide Inks: Broken China, Faded Jeans
Bat cutting die
IndigoBlu Gilding Flakes: Lancashire Rose
