70th Birthday Card

Hi! My Mum-in-law turned 70 today! She loves fairies, so I made her this card. She's not overly happy about being 70 though, so I didn't put that on the card!

I used ink dusters to create the background, masking with torn paper for the hills. The stamps are all from Lavinia. I coloured the wings and blossom with promarkers, and used Clear Star gel pen to make the wings iridescent. I added glamour dust to the wing tips, flowers and dandelions, for some extra sparkle.

I'm entering this in the following challenges:

City Crafter: "Fairy Tale Land"

I love the soft colours you have used for this card. So much prettier than the dark colours I've seen people use with Lavinia Stamps. It's lovley xx
