Stencilled Christmas Trees

Hi! Here are a few cards I made earlier. I'm trying to catch up on my Christmas Card makes, so I'm trying to make variations of the same card to speed up the process!

I used my new stencil from Artplorations, and added colour using ink dusters and Adirondack inks. I left them without a sentiment, and layered the white card on white, to keep them CAS.

I'm entering this one in the Hiding in my Craft Room challenge: "Any Holiday"

I'm entering this one in the CAS on Sunday challenge: "Christmas"

I'm entering this one in the The Shabby Tea Room challenge: "O' Christmas Tree"

And I'm entering this last one in the following challenges:

Peace On Earth

Hi! Here are a few more cards from this weekend's card-making frenzy. They are all made using the Stampin' Up stamp I bought last year but didn't get around to using!

This one was made by clear embossing the stamped image onto watercolour paper, and colouring with Brushos. I then added a few gems and layered it onto gold and deep blue card.

I'm entering this into the following challenges:

Cupcake Inspirations challenge:

The paper Shelter: "A Christmas Card"

This one is similar, but I used shabby white embossing enamel instead of clear. I like the warm colours in this one.

I'm entering this in the following challenges:

Color Throwdown:

Come And Get It: "Anything Goes with a Sentiment"

I used the shabby white embossing enamel on black card for this one, and then added a green border and ribbon.

I'm entering this in the That's Crafty challenge: "Black & White with a Hint of Colour"

This is the same card, but in red, and the ribbon was inspired by the photo in the current Card Concept challenge:
The Style I was going for is Clean & Simple.

This is another one that was coloured with Brushos, and I added a few punched sparkly snowflakes. I like the colour of them, but I'm not too sure if orange snowflakes look cute or weird!

I'm entering this one in the following challenges:

Time Out challenge: "Snowflakes are Winter's Butterflies"

Pink Gem challenge: "Inspired by a Christmas Song or Carol" (Hark the Herald Angels Sing)

Christmas Trees

Hi! I've spent the weekend making Christmas cards, as I've just realised that it's nearly December! Here's a couple I made using a Woodware Christmas Trees stamp:

I stamped and embossed with gold embossing powder onto watercolour paper, and then coloured with Brushos. I absolutely love Brushos!

I'm entering this one in the MFT Challenge

I made this one in the same way, but spritzed the image with a Crafty Notions colour spray before adding the Brushos. It has a bit of a shimmer to it, but it doesn't show up in the photo very well.

I'm entering this one in the following challenges:

Addicted to Stamps: "Make Your Mark"

Creatalicious Challenges: "Merry Christmas"

Another Uniko Post

Hi! Here's my 2nd card for the current Uniko challenge: "Christmas with an optional twist of CAS (Clean & Simple)"

I used the 'Stunning Snowflakes' stamp set from Uniko again, with a Clarity Stamp Christmas tree stencil. I stamped large and small snowflakes in Versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder, then stamped more small snowflakes in deep blue. I used ink dusters to add blue and purple ink for the background. I added small gems to the snowflake centres.

Thanks for stopping by :)

Uniko Guest Designer!

Hi! I'm very proud to be Guest Designer for Uniko's November challenge! This month's challenge is:

Christmas with an optional twist of CAS (Clean & Simple)

I used the 'Stunning Snowflakes' stamp set from Uniko to make my card. I masked off the top and bottom of the card to leave a panel. I stamped the sentiment and large snowflakes in Versamark ink and then embossed with clear embossing powder. I then stamped a few of the medium snowflakes in a light blue, and the small snowflakes in a darker blue. I used ink dusters to ink the background in blues and purples, and then wiped the excess ink off the embossed images to make them bright white again.

Here's my card:

New purchases from the NEC Hobbycrafts Show...

Hi! I went to the Hobbycrafts Show at the NEC last weekend with my best mate Linda (Crafty Distraction), and bought far too much stuff... I haven't had chance to try most of it yet, but here's a card I made using a new stencil from Clarity Stamps, and a new Lavinia fairy stamp:

I used ink dusters to create the background, coloured the wings and outlined the branches with iridescent gel pen, and added Stickles to her hair and the dandelion.

I'm entering this card into the following challenges:

Craft for the Craic: "Something Glittery"

Crafts Galore: "Use a Stamp or Digi Image"

A Tag Card

Hi! There are a couple of challenges at the moment to use a tag on a card. Here's the one I am entering:

These are the challenges:

That's Crafty: "Tag You're It!"

CAS on Sunday: "Tag It!"

Some Glass Beads

Hi! I haven't made many glass beads this year, and I've really missed it! Here are a few I made last weekend. I'm still deciding what to use them for, but the two ivory ones look like candidates for a pair of earrings...

There are a couple of challenges at the moment with an "Anything But A Card" theme. I'm not sure if glass beads count, but I'm entering this last bead in case...

These are the challenges:

Allsorts: "Anything But A Card"

Sparkles Monthly: "Anything But A Card"
