Hiya! I spent ages planning this bag and fretting over it. I bought the sample pack of squares and spent ages faffing with layouts, but ended up getting some plain blue fabric so that I just had a patchwork panel, so it wouldn't be too busy.
I used a plain grey fabric for a lining. I guess you have to line a bag when it's patchwork, to hide all the messy seams. It took me ages to make (after weeks of planning...), but I love it, and hopefully the next one will be quicker to make!
Some of the patchwork panel didn't quite lie flat and was a bit uneven, but fortunately it doesn't seem to show now the bag is made up - phew!

Bags!
Hi! I made these back in June, but had forgotten to post them. Sorry about the photos - quick snaps on my phone.
Simple tote bags, but I'm really pleased with them, and they're good practise for me, gotta get the hang of sewing in straight lines...
I absolutely love this cat fabric! I have it in reds too, but prefer the black & white. My lovely friend Debbie bought this bag from me, even though I did warn her that I was a beginner and that the seams were wonky...
I made this one for my mum. She loves birds - well, all animals and nature, really - and she chose this fabric from the couple of bird fabric samples I had. She's using it, hopefully not just out of politeness, and it hasn't fallen apart, so that's good :D

Belated Birthday Card :(
Hi! It was my Aunt's birthday last Sunday, and I forgot :( I feel awful about it, and am still fretting about what to buy her, but at least I've made a card now.
I used a digistamp from All Dressed Up, and printed it onto patterned paper as well as the white cardstock. I cut out the dress, head band and butterflies from the patterned paper and layered it onto the image. I coloured the rest of the image with Promarkers, and added a little bit of glitter to the butterflies. I really really really don't like fussy cutting, as it is so faffy and I'm not very good at it, but I like the result. I hope my aunt will like it! :)

Glittery Wings
Hi! Here's a card I made for a friend's little 5 year old daughter. She loves fairies and glitter, so hopefully it went down well!
I used a digi from All Dressed Up, coloured with Promarkers, and then absolutely smothered the wings in Glamour Dust! I used my new Nuvo glitter drops on the flower centres and on the curls on Evie's name. I'm still getting the hang on using the drops, but I love them! I had a few attempts at taking a photo that shows how raised up and shiny they are... Thanks very much, Debbie, for introducing me to Nuvo :)
