Late Birthday Card...

It was my Aunt's birthday about a week ago, and I missed it :(  I spoke to her the day afterwards, and made her a card, but wish I'd sent one to arrive on time! My Aunt is very artistic and creative, so I'm always a bit nervous of sending her my cards. She makes beautiful teddy bears and sells them all over the world. It's a bit intimidating! Addicted to Daisies

Trying out a couple more masked panel cards with my new favourite stencil :)  I think maybe the pale background works better than the deep blue. I think I need to try using cleaner / paler colours for the petals, too. I might try that tomorrow.

Water brush

I've had a couple of those water brushes (the ones that you fill with water) for ages, but didn't really know what to do them. After seeing Heather Telford's post here, I had to try it! Her video shows how she colours the stamped flowers with the brush, and it looks so effective. I have to practice a fair bit, but here's one of my first attempts. I'm also using my new wink of stella gold pen - had to get one after seeing Heather's video :)

It's been a while...

I've been making cards on and off, but haven't been on here for ages, and have missed it!

This weekend I made a few cards for the first time in a while. Here's one of them. I've been trying to use some of the stencils I bought and then forgot about.
